Since around 1970, when production of home video recorders started in Japan, TENKING has produced the head drums required for the recording and playback functions. To mass produce products with a micron-level specifications, we introduced production and quality control systems in a temperature-controlled factory, which was uncommon at that time. 50 years passed, and after videotapes have disappeared from the market for more than 10 years, TENKING has worked to develop and improve technologies to meet the demands of the market.
